Kneron honored in Gartner's Cool Vendor in AI Semiconductor 2020
San Diego, CA. - May 8, 2020 - Kneron, an on-device edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions company that offers integrated hardware and software solutions has been honorably mentioned in Gartner’s Cool Vendors in AI Semiconductor 2020 report. The San Diego based company offers AI system-on-chips (SoC) powered by a proprietary neural processing unit (NPU), and image and audio AI models that accelerate AI inferencing locally on smart home devices, IP cameras, smart security, and mobile computing devices.
Their first-generation AI SoC - KL520 was early to market with design wins because it strikes a vital balance between low power consumption, powerful performance, small model sizes, and low cost, as well as ensuring user data privacy. The KL520 is market and revenue proven as it is set to ship with partner devices in Q3 2020.
