Kneron Announces New International Partnerships to Bring AI Solutions to Smart Vehicles, Homes and Cities

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – May 12, 2022 –Kneron, a full-stack AI company, today announced new international partnerships to help shape the future of smart vehicles, smart homes and smart cities.
Kneron has partnered with Hanwha, the largest global player in IP cameras, to advance technology for smart city and smart building management. Hanwha Techwin X series AI cameras with KL720 provide innovative solutions when it comes to vehicles, virtual fences and human detection. Kneron technology is featured in P and X series Hanwha IP camera models.
In March, Kneron presented its vehicle solutions in Taiwan at Mobility in Harmony (MIH) Consortium for Electric Vehicles. Kneron displayed its OT8600+KL520 developer board for vehicle camera sensors to deploy people, vehicle and object detection. The mission of the MIH Consortium is to promote collaboration in the EV field and to realize key technologies, develop reference designs, push for industry standards, close the gap among ecosystem players, lower the barrier to entry, accelerate innovation and reduce development cycle times.
Kneron is working with multiple globally renowned manufacturers to develop integrated edge AI hardware and software solutions for vehicle, security and broader AIoT use cases:
●Spark, Sens-cam with KL720: AI sens-cam for mask detection.
●SMAX, VS8 with KL720 x 2 for Chunghwa Telecom: A box (edge server) with two KL720 for smart traffic crossroads regulation.
●ABUS WLAN Surveillance Camera by JSW with KL520: Smart home camera for security monitoring and detecting people, animals and vehicles in and around the home.
●TDV, iEdge4 with KL720: Industrial grade raspberry pi box for parking lot license plate management system.
●Zhongxin Bus: Blind spot detection.
