I am having linux 22.04, I want to connect to kl720 usb dongle. I am so much confused with the steps to setup that I am unable to do, Please provide me step by step along with version of things that I need to do to setup kneron usb dongle. Give me everything in step by step please. That would be convinient

Here are the steps to set up and use KL720 dongle on your Linux, with documentation links to guide you through:

1. Download Kneron PLUS and Kneron DFUT (under the Kneron PLUS section): Developers | Kneron – Full Stack Edge AI
2. Install Dependencies: Install Dependency - Document Center (kneron.com)
3. Check your dongle information on Kneron DFUT to see if the dongle FW is KDP2
4. If not, upgrade your KL720 dongle to KDP2 Firmware by using Kneron DFUT: Upgrade AI Device To KDP2 - Document Center (kneron.com)

Your KL720 USB dongle should be all set now. You could then:

-Build Kneron PLUS: Build Kneron PLUS - Document Center

-Run Kneron PLUS: Run Examples - Document Center (kneron.com)

DFUT can only be used for Linux version 18.04

Maybe you can try to build a console DFUT instead of pre-built DFUT GUI tool we provided.

step1: Download the latest PLUS here

step2: Refer to the document to build on ubuntu and add an extra command.

"cmake -D WITH_DFUT=ON .."

Or you can just follow the commands below:

$ cd kneron_plus/

$ mkdir build

$ cd build/

$ cmake -D WITH_DFUT=ON ..

$ make -j

Then you will find the executive "DFUT_console" in /kneron_plus/build/bin

All functions on DFUT can be used by DFUT_console, too.

Here is a reference discussion with previous version of DFUT for KL520, and it's the same to use for KL720.
