Kneron Education

As part of Kneron’s mission to enable safer and smarter living by accelerating the proliferation of decentralized, collaborative AI everywhere, the team engages K-12, higher education, and professional education institutions to enable AI literacy at every level of technical engagement. While supporting electric engineering students in exploring the frontiers of neural network hardware design, we also accompany developers and nascent young makers in expanding the myriad of creative AI applications for real world use cases. To this end, we work with educators to offer a range of hardware tools, textbooks, as well as open-source resources for diverse learners.

RESOURCES

Our education center provides files and documentation for kickstarting projects with Kneron’s AI resources.

At all levels of education, Kneron works to further promote AI education practices and build resources that popularize AI projects. We strive to enablegreater access to AI education for a wider audience of young learners, with the ultimate goal of allowing everyone to utilize AI tools and play a part in shaping the future.
KNEO

KNEO

A private intelligent grid network of Kneron-powered devices that delivers personalized mobile AI for everyone.

Our KNEO open application platform provides a range of basic hardware and software tools to enable that students and industry developers alike employ to create imaginative AI applications. These applications are uploaded to share and commercialize through the platform.
DEEP LEARNING IN SCHOOLS

DEEP LEARNING IN SCHOOLS

Universities across the world have committed to teaching Kneron CEO, Albert Liu’s textbook in their curriculums. Paired with KNEO Stems to learn about Deep Learning through Hardware Design, bright young minds will carry the future of democratized AI with them in their classrooms as they learn to harness the power of edge AI, share it by developing apps and uploading them onto the KNEO platform for consumers to download or buy.

From universities down to elementary schools, Kneron is committed to sowing the seeds of edge AI knowledge and how to develop AI apps and build personal mobile AI for everyone. In order to realize a future where personal AI is common, we need to make AI knowledge common in our schools first.

Starting with colleges like UCLA, Notre Dame, and the University of Virginia in the US and major colleges in Hong Kong and Taiwan who have committed to using Albert’s curriculum in their schools, Kneron has already started the movement. Come join us and learn how to use the Kneron curriculum in your school as well. Transform and shape the future of AI with us!

Understanding Artificial Intelligence: The Fourth Wave of Industrial Revolution
Learning AI Is Simple: A Preliminary Study of Machine Learning

This book provides ample fun and real-life examples of AI in action, allowing beginners to master the five processes of “machine learning”  in one go.

Through illustrated concepts and full step-by-step code explanations, students will be able to get past the esoteric mathematics and equations. Rather, they are enabled to directly explore the various practical applications of AI, such as AI interpretation of scribbled data through  “Quick Draw!” , linear regression models for supervised learning, KNN, decision tree classification models, and K-means binning models for unsupervised learning.

The final learning results can lead students to creating real work with ranking results at the Kaggle international AI competition platform.

5 Steps to Machine Learning: Become an AI master even without knowing how to write programs!

The author of this book has been engaged in both AI research and teaching for many years.

The material aims to bring children a practical understanding of artificial intelligence in their daily lives, so that they may be neither fearful nor unrealistic in their understanding of AI, thus cultivatinga technological literacy needed to meet the challenges of the future.

In addition, the book puts into practice ahands-onby guiding readers through the key  "5 steps to machine learning" , as a result of which they may learn to build practical computer projects, such as trash sorting, mango grade classification, bird song identification, and gesture recognition.
